i just put an open cone filter on the end of my TB and i was wondering if anyone knew what the IAT was just kinda a ball park im worride about the air being too hot also what is a dangerous IAT
 


really i just put on an open cone and im kinda paranoid, its just on the end of the TB and it gets pretty hot in there i dont wanna cause dentination (spelled it wrong i know)
 
so what you all saying is that i really have nothing to worry about with a open cone on the end of the TB on a bone stock 99 GTP?

You'll be fine. It might throw your maf sensor off a little but on a stock gtp you should be ok. My iat's are maybe 5* warmer than the outside temp.
