you are also comparing a 2v to a 4v. take an 03 gt and an 03 mach 1, there IS a big difference. 96-98 2v and 4v were WEAK. my brothers buddy has a full bult on 2 valve (gt) 97 and i was a car or 2 behind him at the track when i had just intake. 99+ have a stronger motor. 01 cobra, which is the same setup as a 99 cobra, 13.4 on drag radials.

mach 1's are only a few 10ths behind supercharged cobra's at the track. n/a's are not that slow.

i also see alot of 03/04 cobras that cant do better than mid 13's with intake and exhuast. it all comes down to driver

when i had my 03 cobra, i ran a 12.75 @ 116 with loosing traction all trough first and half of second. i was probably putting down around 500 RWH

full boltons, ported eaton and tune??

the guy that went 13.4 113mph with intake and exhaust turned around with some M/T streets and went 12.3 112mph.

a local guy set the eaton record. stock unported eaton with full bolt-ons went 10.34 at 134.

the fastest i had mine was 160+. the spedometer stopped at 160 but it was still going

Wade79 WTF is wrong with you when you had your 03. You got ride of it????? Are you crazy. I would kill for that car. Whats the reason for getting rid of it.

well, i have a daughter now. it's easier to get her in and out of a 4 door car than it is in a 2-door. i was getting around 14 MPG in the cobra. when i knew that i wanted a different car, i wanted to get a grand prix. besides, i was paying almost $700 for the car payment and the insurance for the cobra. now i pay about $465 for the grand prix.

Damn i guess that is a good reason to get a GP but still that is my dream car is an 03 cobra with a Kenne Bell on top of it. At least you went to somthing with some power still instead of a piece of crap foreign job.

All I can say is you better be on your game and steal that hit, you snooze off the line with the cobra and you will never catch him.

Besides I got a 99 GT that runs high 11's, its been sitting in the garage for 3 years. Its been a well kept secret, I plan to unleash it a bit this summer on the local GP crews. Im fair, I will give ANY GTP the hit and atleast 3 cars.

stock eaton. yes i know you could count a kenne or whipple as a bolt on but i dont. hes on the local forums, ill get a complete list of mods.

Itll come, my main rig is still down. Im just on a little laptop for now w/ nothing on it.

Ill give a few hints, its a 35th, its rio red, got tan top and interior, full anderson fuel management system, novi 2000 w/ custom intercooler, MT/DR's stock wheels, baer brakes, and a 300 shot in the trunk. The best part is its still a 4.6 the bad part is its a DSS Bullet 4.6 w/ 2 v heads. there is more money in the engine then the actual purchase price of the car. I got alot of pic posts to catch up on after this weekend when I get my house out of storage.( full remodel at home)

Is the UN-Hustle car, it makes too much noise.
