Does 1997 GTP SC have PCV o-rings ?

I will pull it and check, I don't recall seeing the o-ring in the hole, dealer item or find one at auto parts store or Harbor Freight ?
Does anyone recall size ?

DH is talking supercharged. But unless you lean over and look into the hole, you'll never see the strainer.

You can barely see it from below as well. See the thing in the hole

that's the strainer. Anyhow one o-ring on the bottom piece of the pcv and seal the top cover.

ok, so only one o-ring, i notice the NA's have a black one on top of the PCV.
Also you say seal the top cover, there is a gasket there,is that enough? or maybe a little RTV ?

Thanks

So can one little missing o-ring in a PCV actually cause a rough idle and throw a p0171 , I guess I will find out soon.

Would I have told you about it if it were an optional part? :th_king-evil:

Not having the ring can put let pressures go back and forth w/o anything stopping them. Hence the job of the positive crankcase ventilation valve.
Since you might not believe me, but you'd believe someone that put something unchecked on the internet.. here ya go
