Dodge RAM rematch

Here is a video of me racing a Dodge RAM 1500. He had just tuned it with a Diablosport Predator. The race from a dig was an awesome race, from a roll he had me good. Overall, I think I may have done a little better but Im happy for the guy, he finally beat me. I did notice though that this car heat soaks fast and it affects the car drastically.

Hmmm...that tune must have made quite a difference. I pull at least a car on my bro's 07 hemi, from a dig (completely stock besides a 2" lift). Havent tried the 30 roll though. Gonna have to try that.

my friend had an SRT10 ram that killed me but that's kinda obvious i didn't stand a chance only running on a 3.8 pulley and 2 1/2" DP and a few other things lol

His car is basically stock though, sooo...uerrnttt ye modded?

LOL, a lot of Dodge truck guys seem to love racing my Silverado. Cracks me up. It's a bone stock 2000 1500 with extended cab, 8 foot bed, 4wd and tow package, 140K miles all stock. Sad part is the 5.3L in that year was rated at 285HP and I'm unsure on the torque (which with this heavy beast is what matters). Anyhow.. the new dodges with a billion more horse tend to lose (Sad because most are 2wd short bed not extended cabs.)

327 sbc FTW

ya the new dodge trucks are all talk, know a owner he says who ever talks up the ram for its power is a tool

Mine is totally stock as kinda a big FU to a buddy of mine. He got the same truck as I did, except the Dodge. In 2000 Dodge had a 5.9L pushing 235hp with a coil and distributor still on it. He started changing the exhaust etc etc and asked me "when are you going to mod yours?" My reply "As soon as yours is faster". It's 2012, we both still have our trucks.

He's done
Dual exhaust (currently rusted off)
Running boards
3 transmissions
Rear axle (diff exploded)
Brake lines
Front end (damn near everything up there)
5 sets of brakes
Few other things..

Me:
I changed the plugs about 100K
1 set of brakes
1 drive shaft (I bent it pulling a forklift)
1 K&N air filter (when I needed one, it was early production and no one had one except K&N)

I'm still faster

*Facepalm* Again, the 5.3 is NOT a 327.

On another note, I prefer showing this ass to every Tundra, Raptor, or Titan who bows up.
