Do you need to upgrade your push rods for a xp cam with ls7 lifters and 130# springs on a double roller? If so what is the length with stock rockers and stock heads? 7.050 is stock length zzp sells a 3/8 push rod in 6.95 and 7.00 and recommends it for the heavier springs? I have comp cam 7.050 5/16th push rods in the old motor that I ran with 1.9s. Will those be good enough? Haven't seen any info on pushrods when upgrading a to a cam so just wondering.

Thanks!

I am in the same boat. I can't do anything until the motor is assembled and I use the push rod measuring tool.
I was recently informed the 5/16th should be all you need The larger 3/8th rods I was told have trouble in the l32/l26 heads? Not sure if that applies if you are using l32/l26 block and keep the l67 heads

I didn't do anything to my pushrods with the same setup except 90 lb valve springs. 5000 miles later no issues.

I will order a pushrod checker as engine is close to being done. Hoping.to reuse these comp stock.height ones. Thanks!
