do i need machined guides for xp cam?

i did the opposite of you.

instead of having one with a blown motor and buying a dd, i had a dd and bought one with a blown motor
 


Then you are a smarter man than I.....

Hopefully **** goes through, so we have a car to drive....going on 2 months of borrowing cars from friends....
