Do Grand Prixs have a cabin filter?

alright so my dad asked me to replace the cabin filter in his 06 and when I looked at the directions... all the pictures were from 97-03 so I took my car apart and sure enough theres a spot for a cabin filter so i guess somewhere along the line they decided not to put them in the cars for one reason or another but go to any autoparts store and they should have one in stock
 


my 02 has a cabin filter under the passenger side cowl cover, I get them from Canadian Tire for like $12 and are listed specific for a GP, not a Regal
