do flowmaster make gtps faster?



Double Post...I know I have put this one here...This is my car with Flowmaster 40's, Pacesetter headers, 3" Custom Exhaust, No Cat, Stock Resonator...and yes a ported blower from hell in the background...oh and a cam too ;)

Whoa dude....you need to get a 3" downpipe before the headers. The stock downpipe has a ubend behind the cat that restricts exhaust flow. If you get headers, some of them come with a downpipe with a cat. But if you dont go headers just yet, make sure you do something about the downpipe. I run a 3.4 with the mods I have with very little knock. I had about 1-2 degree's and the mini afc 2.0 took care of that.
 
The reason we say headers is because if you get them after a Downpipe then why waste the money? Just save for the headers and btw...the ones off of Ebay are maybe like $100 more than a ZZP Full 3" DP...just a thought though...
