DNA springs... yep i said it

Well, the camaro springs are out......they are rated 225# front and 417# rear. would drop the front about 2.25" and the rear .4", not to mention throw the balance WAY out of whack. Just let me know if you guys are sending springs to me, so I can watch for them.

Will do, but it won't be for a little while.

Need to find the rear struts so the car can still roll.

If you guys are willing to help with the shipping costs then I'll go ahead and send them up his way. I dont use paypal though I use Serve.com way better service than paypal and no fees either.

do you have a UPS store nearby? if so I can give you my UPS number to charge it to

Yes there's one right down the street actually. Do you want all 4 springs or just 2? Also how long would you need to keep them for?

x2 ill donate for results too not nearly enough of this "test and prove" going on after all the hell with an opinion IMO facts dont lie.

i notice QUITE a drop all the way around, i know the back seems to not be so low.. maybe its my pic skills =(

and im running a stock gxp rim/tire set up so i do have some skinny 225's in the back.. but ill deal with that later. im currently piling parts for turbo
Are they 17''s?!?! It doe look good!!! I like the back isn't sagging, mine probably look even with all my "junk in the trunk", lol! I was looking at springs that raise the back end and they claim it gives the front tires better traction...W Body Store

Um ok but I wanna use these on struts. Not coil overs. So. I want stance and ride quality. Not a **** ride and sag

So what's the best choice

If you want ride quality, go with moog stock replacements......and replace your old worn out bump rubbers. Unfortunately, the fact of life with modern cars are that they run super soft springs, with bump stops, so the general public will love the ride. When you take them out and thrash them, they ride on the bump rubbers, which make the effective spring rate go through the roof(almost like running a solid suspension). If you want to be able to lower the car, you have to increase the spring rate quite a bit, or otherwise they just end up running on the bump rubbers all the time. The reason I was looking at such a high rate is to eliminate the bump rubbers, and let the suspension work how it should. Yeah, it may not ride the best, but I want performance, not a perfect ride. In fact, the ride isn't always that bad with the stiffer springs. When I had the 275's on my coilovers on the rear, my wife actually liked the ride better. What will really make a difference is a really good strut. If you run stock replacement struts, they can not handle the rate, but if you go the way I did, and get Bilstein HD's, it makes a HUGE difference in the dampening rate, not to mention you get rid of the bump rubbers since they have internal bump stops. They are basically a coilover shock that is converted to a strut.

ok well i bought kyb GR2 loaded struts last year I want to use those so that DNA spring rate is probably the way to go?

dna is supposed to be pretty stiff rates, or at least they advertise 450/250......if you are running "stock" struts, probably go vogtland

As you've said, advertised and actual can be very wrong.

They also claim SD headers are 1.75" primaries, they are 1.625.
