DNA springs... yep i said it

over a year on my ssc drop and just recently my half axles took a sh1t, so if youre hearing cv joints going bad they just might be past their life and id get them checked.
 


I'm telling you The gm ones and zzp ones are different. I used both. I borrowed a set from a buddy who had his cradle out while doing repairs. They are very similar. But somehow the Zzp ones are better. Who knows where zzp gets em from.
 
I got the rears in yesterday, and I installed some shorter dog bones to hold off till I can get the spacer installed when I get them tomorrow. But it feels like my freaking wheel is gonna fall of under heavy acceleration. The cv joints are fine and my wheel balance is good. Wheel bearing aren't making any noise I had it on the hoist with a stethoscope, any ideas ?

Well ill be in the vicinity for the spacers i guess ill replace them, anything else you think i should take a look at? My alignment is slightly off but i was gonna wait till i get my front sway bar and for the springs to settle before i did it.

I hear people have good success with the solid NAPA mounts. Any idea the part numbers?

How do you know your half shafts are fine?

I'm 90% sure that's what it is. They establish a wear pattern at the old height. So these are problems you likely won't ever notice until it's lowered.

Boss at work pulled back the boot and said that it appears to be alright. I am not 100% sure but i really hope i don't need new axles. How much are rebuilt ones from morad?

You can't tell by pulling back the boot on the vehicle very well. Mine were around $60 a side from the parts store with a lifetime warranty.

Just hope the outside spline isn't seized inside the hub...mine was stuck like a *****.
 


I have the struts,they are the KYB GR-2 / Excel-G for the front and back and i have the Strut Mounts i just didnt know i needed the lower control arms.Can you tell me wich part# i need to get from the 2 i posted, thanks
 
the struts are matched to the lower control arms. if you bought struts for your specific control arm style then they will not work with the lowering springs.
 
Ok,im going to post all the parts that i have and can you tell me what else i need or if i bought the wrong part;here is what i got.
DNA Springs,KYB GR-2 / Excel-G Struts, Strut Mount(front and back),4 Strut Boots,4 Stabilizer Bar Links,i can post all the part# for tha parts i got if that helps.I just hope i didnt buy the wrong parts.I also have the pogo washers and Vinnie spacers.

Here is some pics of the drop so far. Im still having major vibration. Im hoping to get some new mounts and install with spacers today. I will also install the anti pogo washers.
 
That drop doesn't look like a good amount, was pretty sure I was going to get these springs but not now.

Its not as big as other springs but it's a very big difference from stock. Side by side between my moms gt the difference is huge. I can fist the gap on hers and still have room on this I can barely fit three fingers. It also isnt that harsh of a ride. Remember the lower you go the firmer/hasher the ride
