A gen V will always outperform a fully ported Gen 3 and be more efficient in doing this. It's not logical to base this on what size pulley you can run that makes it a better blower. You will see power gains with a GenV over a Gen3 anyday, there is a good reason why the genV holds 75% of the s/c hp records.
