• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I decided to do headers like I should have done in the first place.

Should I be able to run a 3.4 with some tuning?

I bought an AEM WB too. Would it be a good idea to weld the bung in before the install? If so where?

What HP /ET's do 3.4" set ups usually run?

Usually around 220whp. Low 14's, maybe upper 13's, depending on DA.

I would be surprised if you could get away with a 3.4 without any knock issues.

I welded mine to the side of the goose neck piece. Dragged it through the snow for 2 winters, worked like a champ lol.

I'd suggest pointing it further up or going somewhere else if you plan to run a cat. It must go before the converter. I only went there because I could and I wanted it closer to the exhaust gases exiting the heads, they say like 15-20in away for something like that is generally best.

18" from the exhaust port or 36" when using leaded gas , turbo or whenever you anticipate temps higher then 800*

If you do weld a bung , make it at a 10* angle so it's not pointed straight down into the exhaust pipe
