so i know this has been done before but i figured id post pics anyway....

got tired of having a pillar pod as i wanted something more low key and sleeperish and less cop attractive.....i never felt like a pillar pod looked right in a gp....so i did this....

was concerned it would be more inconvienient in this location as far as vision but i actually find it easy to glance down if i need something i dont ever stare at gauges while im driving anyway kinda dangerous, unless im on an empty road scanning for knock but i usually have a buddy in the car to do it anyway....reaching the aeroforce isnt a hassle either....overallsleeper status accomplished, free stealth pod :) heres some night shots as well. now im tempted to get some pre gen 16 5 spokes and ditch the bullits for a more stockish look, but i like my bullitts haha.....plus a rocker'd 3.4 setup isnt so much to hide ;) maybe with e85, a genV and a nasty tune it would be tho ......

ill trade you projectors if you gimme some cash....that way its all done and i can redo the set i get on my own time :)

i was worried about that but i dont really notice it being much harder, i dont spend alot of time lookin down there unless im dianosing something but if i knock it lights up so i know and i hardly ever look at my gauges the boost is gonna get taken out eventually for a AEM UEGO since i can read boost on the aero anyway, my tuner will like this location pretty convienient for the pass.

Info? Just get blue guages and a blue head unit.

Probelm solved.

Or whatever colour you wanted.

JVC decks can do almost any colour FYI

i have a pioneer deck, i was just wondering if there was anyway to change colors of stock gauges? are the lights behind them red or is there some kinda tint... i know it'a noob question but i hate taking the dash apart
 
I didn't mean the stock guages. I meant the guages you add on afterwards.

I think you have to change the face plate to change colours.
