Disassemble/Reassemble GP seats?

I'm thinking about tearing down my front bucket seats and refoaming them myself, anyone ever done this before? Any tips/pointers? We can I get the materials? (foam) Thanks...

I dont have the answers for ya, but I will be watching this thread as I would like to know myself and be able to refoam my seats and maybe even make them a tad bit more comfortable.

:D

I would consider that option but so far all the seats I have found are in far worse shape than mine, plus they've been ridiculously high for trashed seats.

I figure if I can't upgrade a little (get seats better than mine) I might as well fix what I got and go from there.

All I can tell you is to check around locally for a upholstery shop. I don't see how your going to be able to do anything with the foam yourself really.

But, I know where some 04+ seats are that look just like those ones in the picture you can have, for a price. :D

And just how much would those cost? Id like to do the 04+ seat upgrade at some point but I got to get the car on the road first or at least running again.

Well Street Wolfs "special" price for me is my Hood for a trade. He tried to swap me several times when I was down there for the Tranny install. He may have a "special" price for you too, list your mods :-)

I've seen it done and the guy that was doing it said the hardest part was putting some of the new hog rings in because of their location. On a GP seat, I'm not sure where they're all located. He said to do it the biggest thing is to take your time and have a little bit of patience.
