Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I have a '94 SE 3.1. The owners manual says to take out fuse #7 to disable it. I did this and nothing happened, so I put it back.

Any way to turn off this annoying feature?

I did the search on this topic but was not able to find it.

Looks like he did, unless there is another fuse that controls this feature. Might be time for Google on this one.
 
With the 97-03 its in the manual.. You enter programming mode and then click the locks til you hear the right number of chimes.
 


I don't see a programming mode in the '94 manual. I asked the local independent garage when fixing the wheel alignment, and the guy said it was complicated, but not sure if that was his take on my abilities or for the shop to do it. So thought I would try here.
