Disable Factory Alarm?

My alarm randomly goes off at night. It will only go off 4 times, but it might do it several times a night. As you can guess, it is very annoying at all hours of the night. I turned the alarm sensitivity down from level 4 to level 2 and STILL the alarm goes off.

So my question is, is there anyway to disable the factory alarm?

how do you turn the alarm sensitivity down? mine does this all the time

I'm sorry, but I had my friend come over with his owner manual (my car didn't come with one) and he showed me how it's done. You have to remove a fuse and turn your car to the accessory mode I believe. Like I said I turned mine down and it STILL goes off, so I want the alarm gone all together.

ok you have two options...

1. you can look under the dash right above the gas pedal but but more toward the back of the car you will find the shock sensor it is a small flat square with rounded edges and it has a white sensitivity knob on it that you can adjust its prob turned up too high.

2. you can go to the bcm also under the dash all the way on the left above your left foot if you were driving....on the bcm there is a 20 pin connector (all the thin wires) connector farthest toward the front of the car....you need to find the orange wire with a black stripe and ground this wire from the bcm side to a good ground and you will have your alarm disabled and still have keyless entry etc. etc. just no alarm good luck!
