disable drl 05 base

i need to disable the drl for my 05 base i am having remote start installed and need the h.i.d.s to not come on. my drl lights are the turn signal/parking light any help would be greatly apreciated

Why would your HIDs come on? They only come on when its night time for your year car, which is what you would want?

it is only light for like 4-5 hours a day here in alaska and i start the car from inside and it idles for like 15 mins before i go out i dont want the lights on while i am not in it

On my car, when I remote start it, the headlights initially turn on if it's dark enough, then turn right back off and parking lights stay on. (08 gp)
