So putting my engine back together and thr dipstick doesn't sit very tight? It sits loosely in its place. This normal? 99GTP with an 04 Impala L67 engine

The dipstick should be snug in the tube. There is an o-ring on the plastic handle to seal in the dipstick tube, make sure it is in place.

I mean where the dipstick tube plugs into the engine. Sorry, crappy discription on my part

I hope he's not gripping too tight.. he might have died.

There is a small o-ring on the tube at the bottom. It's common to go in pretty easy, or take a little persuasion. If it's in all the way, bolt it down and smile.

Lol yeah, I was kinda waiting for the pic =P
Its pushed up just a tad but I bolted it up top and it doesn't seem to move much. I figured I would see pretty quick if its going to leak or not.

Well the body of the car isn't quite completely over the cradle yet. I was going to connect as many sensors as I could while the body of the car was still raised a little. Found that I need to splice the oil level sensor plug back onto the wiring harness because it got ripped off.
