So I have this problem where once in awhile, at random, when driving at night, my dash lights will get really dim, they don't go out, they just get really dim, but the backlight for the DIC will go full brightness as if it were daytime out and my headlights weren't on. If I give a good whack to the underside of the dash left of the steering column and right under the headlight switch, they will go back to normal. Or if I play with the dimmer on the headlight switch or push on it, it'll go back to normal.
So I'm guessing my headlight switch is what's causing this? Would there be anything I could do to fix it, or should I just get another switch? It's done this since I bought it a year ago.
