Digital DIC Flashing Zeros

I just completed putting my 97 digital DIC into my 97 SE. Using the diagram from the howto thread, I connected everything up. Made a couple of changes because wire length, but I used wiring diagrams to ensure they were connected to the right places. I took A-1 to RAD-10 and B-3 to C2-E. Everything lights up correctly and the TRAC OFF button works properly. The Low Trac even lights up when I go over some rough terrain. Only problem is, all the data items are coming up with flashing zeros. Searching through the threads there are two suggestions as to the cause:

1.) The A-4 connection isn't hooked up to the C1-F connector. Well, mine is.
2.) The PCM is in program mode.

So my question is, if it is my PCM in program mode, how do I get it out of program mode? If not, what else could it be?

It does have the tire pressure and is indeed a 97. Truth be told, I've examined both the 97 and others thoroughly. The only difference I could see is the light is not installed and the cover sheet doesn't have the "check tire pressure" lettering on it. The functionality still looks to be there. GM just removed the wire to A4, the light and the lettering.

Recommend you check the wiring again per the diagram in the how to section. That diagram has been proven to be correct. The DIC could also be bad or the connection to the OBD connector is not good.

Well, I used 18-22 splice connectors for the splicing. I'm going to remove them and try twisting two together using some butt end connectors.

I have done two DIC's for myself and my brother. I soldered both. I have not had any issues with them two.

Well, looks like I had a bad DIC. Found another one and put it in and now it works. Also installed my HUD. Yaaaayyyyy
