Ok so here's the thing...

My friend wants to sell me his 98 gtp for $600
What's wrong with it right...the three things I know of for sure
Are needs a Cv axle, a harmonic balancer, and bottom end bearings...

2 main questions...

1. Is the car wroth that with what's wrong with it.
2. Are any of these an extremely hard fixies with your average tool sets?
Email me and let me know guys and gals thanx for reading this.

Re: i already have a question and i joined today!!!

So it needs an engine and an axle, sounds like an easy weekend. Get it for $400 and you should be good.

Re: i already have a question and i joined today!!!

you should just get a junk yard engine and swap it it out, up to 600 bucks for a engine, axles 100 bucks each.

if the cars in really nice shape and you can do the work its worth it, if not it will cost more to have a shop do it

and welcome to the site.

For the price, u are better off getting a motor form the junkyard and just swap it in like suggested. Easy job, you will be ok. Still sounds like a good deal.
