Different ZZP Downpipe Question...

I sent an email to them last night, but thought that I might get a better/faster response here:

I was about to buy their 3" bolt-on w/cat for my 2000 GTP, but I am reading from the description that it has a "stainless braided flex section", and later in the description it states the braided flex "fail very easy on supercharged cars." My GTP is supercharged, obviously, so this concerns me. Or do these downpipes come with what they call an "interlock flex"?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question. I just want to make sure before ordering.

Don't worry about it...flip your stock motor mounts...that way there is less movement and the flex is less likely to break...which I've only heard of it down a handful of times.

Hey, I also got the following information from Zoomer at ZZP about their downpipes:

All our downpipes are interlock. External braid, internal interlock.

Sounds good to me... Still going to do the dogbone flip though as it is a good idea anyway!

i think they mean that the normal non interlock flex sections can break on s/c cars... but not their interlock ones
