Different sealant?

its gonna move some. if you shift it from P to R then to D watch how much the engine moves, if its more then say 2 inches of a bounce the lower mounts are shot.

flipping the rad side dog bone bushings will also help tighten up the engine some.
 


My dog bones have been flipped since I've done it when i bought the car. The mounts are pretty much new. And omw home i lost 4th gear or overdrive.... I've had enough of this grand prix bullsh**... I'm about to sell it. All I have is problems.please help
 
You want us to link you to the thread for fixing the 4th clutch hub or give you suggested angles to take pictures for Craigslist ads?
 
Hahah. I probably should sell it shouldn't I? But I'm not going to get anything for it. It's a loss either way

You bet they do. That is supposed to look the same, all the way. See how the part furthest on the shaft is beefy and the rest is crappy. Replace ... and you should have 4th again.
 
Hey guys... do you remember when my first trans went out? I lost 3rd and 4th gear at the same time? Well i just tore it apart and found this! And do you know why i would lose 3rd?
 


Likely..when the sprag when into the input third or the second pack on the input/third housing is out by one clutch. Or... the metal bushing behind that 4th housing popped off the housing.
 


Can it be anything else? Cause I've been trying to get it back together for days. I used reassembly grease on that one metal bushing so I know that's not it. And I took everything from the 4th support to the sprag out and measured everything when I knew it was together. And I then measure everything as I put it in piece by piece and I got the same measurements. Can it be something back further than the sprag
 
And I also have an extra trans. So I did the same thing to that one as I did this one and it goes together fine
