Differences in blocks?

Long story short the replacement motor for my Camaro is toast.....so I think i'm gonna pick up another cheap one and rebuild it and just get the body finished for right now.

My question is is there any differences in the blocks between the L26/L36 AND L67/L32. Also FWD and RWD. Any differences in the blocks?

There are a number of block differences if your asking about internals. Actual block casting, no. L36 has longer rods, shorter pistons, non coated pistons, and tighter ring clearances as opposed to the l67. The l26 has stronger rods then the l36

Cranks are all the same.

Also...strength of ANYTHING in these motors are debatable...since countless motors have gone over 600 FWHP on a bone stock bottom end...it is all in the tune.

im building the bottom end...im not takin any chances...this will be the third motor..i dont want a fourth lol
