Difference in headers between gtp and gt?

Sorry for the (what seems to me) incredibly dumb question, but im getting ready to order my headers and the auction says that the headers are for a gtp and wont fit a gt. I have a top swapped gt (I think), and I wanna make sure I get the right headers. I know to top swap a gt you need to swap on the gtp heads but I also know zzp makes a kit where you just swap the LIM. My injectors seat in the cyl head I believe, so I dont think I have the zzp kit. So, GTP headers is what I should be ordering, right?
 


Looks like it will be awhile before I can order them anyway. The auction I was looking at is from tgautopart and people say to go with the speed daddy headers over any others, and speed daddy headers are out of stock. I hope they get them back soon.

True story. Guy up in Michigan that I went up to install his headers a month or two ago. He ordered them. 5 days later they refunded his money. 5 days later. Headers arrived at front door. He checks his checking/debit.. never taken out.

Free headers.
 
hey guys i'm new to the grand prix scene i just bought a 97 gt and i'm modifying the engine, i just want to make sure if i buy headers that say gtp will they fit my gt? if anybody can give me some info that would be great thanx .
 


Only difference on the heads are L36/L67/L32/L26 is injectors. NA engines have injectors in the intake manifold, while supercharged engines the injectors go into the heads. Which does not
prevent bolting of the headers.

If you look the stock manifolds between motors are exactly the same.. same part #'s, ect.

So they will bolt up and good to go.
 
cool thanx a lot i was going crazy looking for some headers they all say for gtp only and the only ones i found for a gt were pfyc.com, thanks alot

You do know that the trans in your car is a weaker 4t60e and not a 4t65e right?
