Dies when its in park

sometimes my car will die when its only in park but if i quitly put it in reverse or drive it will not die on me. It mainly does it when its heated up.

any ideas what this could be.

also seems to be happening more since i got my dp installed
 


Try cleaning the MAF. Then, if it still happens try changing the IAC.

Also, post up the year and mileage as that may help us help you. The 04+ cars are known to build up junk on the TB and cause this issue as well.
 
03 gt 70k miles, CAI box and downpipe, correct?

Scan for codes. All auto parts stores do this for free.
Check for a vacuum leak. Spray carb cleaner around vacuum hoses and gaskets while running. Increased rpms will indicate leak.
Clean throttlebody
Clean mass airflow sensor - especially if you have an oiled intake filter, like K&N.
If your intake filter is clogged, clean it.
Make sure you didn't remove the throttlebody screen when you installed your air filter.
