Did i jut put to much oil in?

My oil dipstick was reading at the 2nd hole towards the bottom. I added 1qt and now its at the U of FULL that is written onthe dipstick... Is that way to much? Should I go have it drained?
 


Nah, I wouldnt worry about it. I fill mine with 5 quarts and its only a 4.5 system and its prolly 2 dots worth over the FULL mark on the dipstick and I never have issues.
 
I normally run an oil filter from an S10 so that the system becomes an even 5 quarts. One time I forgot to buy one for an S10 and over filled a bit. No adverse effects.
 
s10/blazer filter works, but i'd suggest you dont if you've never replaced your motor mounts, the filter can come down and smack the subframe and rip the filter open and you'll have a dead car.
