DIC troubleshooting

now that I see someone interested in this topic, I thought I should share how my issue ended up:

I bought another 99 DIC off eBay, and worked. Guess it was 97 and seller was mistaken, or there are some models that aren't compatible with certain years.

Do you still have that DIC? I just picked up one today for $25 for 98+ on accident. Just getting the flashing 0.0 right now. Can't find any 97 GT DIC's anywhere else right now, would be interested in buying it if you still have it...

Sorry it's sold to a member in this forum last week..; yeah I know how annoying flashing 0 is!!
 
It's alright haha, just figured I would ask. I put electrical tape over the flashing 0.0 for now. Looks like crap at night but you can barely see it during the day. Now begins my hunt for a '97 GT DIC haha.
