DIC reset button

The light for the reset button in the DIC works sometimes.. sometimes it doesn't. how do i replace that light? does the button come off or do i have to take the whole faceplate for the DIC off
 


theres tabs around the DIC, push em down and the front part will come off...PITA too....then once the cover is off the buttons will fall out. Take a torx and there two little screw that hold the screen in..take those out and pull the screen out and the board will come out too...the bulbs just twist in. IIRC that's how to do it.
 
its EASY...just sounds hard...i thought the same thing when my screen was only half lit up...took literally 5 minutes including taking it out of the dash.
