DIC and heated seats stopped working

Ok, both my heated seats and DOC stopped working at the same time. I can't figure it out. The fuses for both are still good. It happened about the time I hooked up my pillar gauges. I didn't tap into any of those wires, so I think that's just a coincidence. I have been trying to figure this out and have had no luck, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

BTW, only reason I know my heated seats don't work since it is summer time, is because my back was killin me the other day and thought some heat on it would help.

My DIC mysteriously started working again, but its very dim. Heated seat still doesn't work though. Gonna put a different DIC on and see if that fixes the dim problem.

I have a 2000 GP and both the DIC and HVAC control panels are not lighting up with the key on and have no power. This problem first came about earlier this year and one day on my way to work they both lit up so I cycled all the ac and heater controls in every speed. Everything worked fine. On my drive home however, they both had no power once again. All fuses where checked under the dash and the hood.

From reading this forum under HVAC issues, there was a post that pointed to the ignition switch under the steering column. I just changed that and still nothing. Back to the drawing board as they say.

I had the same problem with the HVAC control and DIC. Both had no power for a few weeks, one day they worked, and out again and stayed out this time. The problem was a bad wire (corrosion) in the wirewall plug harness under the hood. All better now.
