anyone else have it? i tried to make an account and they wont approve it, its been a while!! anyone have it they can just send it to me directly?
 
I think everything is done manually over there now. So it may take a little while.
 


Email jeff and give him the serial number on your tuner, and request access to the rest of the forum. He said he's been working a lot lately so it may take some time.
 
does anyone know if i can use the dhp software on a universal obd2 computer interface? what would be different from the dhp box and that one? dont they use the same circuitry?

im kinda in the same boat as you. a guy is giving me a dhp powrtuner that he never used so i should be able to register it to my car. but im highly confussed on what bin files i would need in order to work the program. guy said he had it but could never figure out how to use it and finally bought a hptuner. ive been fishing around on the powertuner site but with my limited knowledge its kinda overwhalming.
 


yea, i dont think they make them anymore and well i dont think it comes with software. you have to download something, i think a table modifier to make it work on the computer. its like hptuners but i hear its alot harder.
 
They stopped selling Powrtuners. They have a website with everything you need after you send an email to the admin with your serial # on your tuner. You could get the software from someone else, but the software itself needs to be connected to a car and registered before you can tamper with it. Powrtuner was better than HPtuners but now HPtuners has become much more user friendly. The advantage in powrtuner is that it is now unlocked to be used with almost any 3800. For HPtuners, you have to purchase credits for each car, about $100 per car.

You don't have to have the table modifier. Table modifier makes tuning with either the Powrtuner or HPTuners easier.

Powrtuner and HPTuners are just two brands of the same thing. Powrtuner is no longer sold since the guy running the company went on to other things.
