DHP Registration



never heard of the prolific driver before.

the registration is just the laptop and the interface box and the dhp program syncing up. once you figure out what setting is off your set.

and to get that done its just matching up the speed and the comm port.
 
So still no luck with registration. I tried all 3 usb ports and all com and speeds. The person who used it before me said that I need to get a driver so my computer can recognize the cable for DHP.
 
Ill post some pictures. I believe its DHP. When I go into Device manager it show a yellow triangle on the serial to usb, ive done some research and its says it could be a fake cable. The person that is letting me barrow the kit says everything should work fine. He aslo says that I need to install a Driver so that the computer that im using with windows 8 can recognize the cable. Because when I go into DHP it always say unalbe to communicate no matter what COM port or baud ratre i select(ive tryed all).

Yes I have a different cable, and I believe that the source of my problems. I just dont know what to do to get around the problem. I need to find a driver that will let my computer connect/recognize the different cable.
