has anyone run dhp on windows 10? i started looking into it tonight and apparently windows 10 no longer supports dot net framework 1.1...

I had it working on windows 8.1 and when they updated to 10 it carried over and seems to work fine. I no longer have the cable, but the software opens and works without issue.

not to hijack but im having similar issues with uvscan on my tablet with windows keep getting error message class not registered

These are general windows answers. I don't have a tuner.

Net framework is backward compatible. The tablet issue may be a problem with the devices OS or driver.

Try Task Manager>Windows Explorer>End Task. It should restart automatically. Provided it doesn't crash, try the uvscan again.

The other generic work around you can try is ~ (borrowed)
Go to Start, and then to Run (or the Win and R keys)
Type in "dcomcnfg" (without the quotes) and press Enter

In the Component Services window that opens, go to the left hand pane and double click on:
- Component Services, then on
- Computers, then on
- My Computer, then on
- DCOM Config
If it asks you to register any of the components, click Yes
This may happen several times if there are several unregistered components

Once you're finished, close the window and reboot the computer.
Check to see if the problems are fixed.
This sounds like desktop instructions, but your device should be similar.
