dhp 6k shifts

i cant seem to get it right at WOT.

in the first to second WOT shift MPH colum, its a MPH colum to shift at. first to second WOT rpm, gives a desired rpm to shift at.

i had rpm at 6k at first but it hit limiter before it shifted. so i went back and raised fuel and spark limiters (6200), draged the intense tune transmission settings over to the one i was working on, but it still hit a limiter right before shift.

i went back and changed most of the limiters that i could find to 6200, and put shifting back to stock. how can i get it to shift at 6k???

youll never get the REAL shift point to mach up with the tach. the tach will go past the actual point where you are shifting. you should be able to switch the RPM and speed so that you can fine tune it. i always had mine shift really firm when WOT, but if i was cruising and not going above 3k RPM or so it was softer.

there is a colume to choise shift pressure (psi) thru out the rpm range. it starts off soft and gradualy builds up untill redline. i have keep that stock.

i see what your saying about the shift being off tho. stock is set at 5350 and it usally shifts around 5500-5600. so if i set it around 5750 it should shift around 6k

it goes past it and hits limiters. if you put it at 6k its gonna go past that. so i guess i gotta kinda guess.

i aint really had time to play with it today. i get closer each time i mess with it. ill have it soon. just wondering if there was an easier way.

i had most of the limiters around that, but the high rpm spark table was like 5800 and high rpm spark was 0. i dont know if that acts as a limiter.

ive only tried it a few diffrent ways. ill have it figured out in the next tune or so.

it sure is fun playing with it tho. i have not got into nothing serious yet. tuning for drivabiltiy now. ill be sittin around and ill pull up the tune and make a few tweaks, save it, close it. later on ill think of a few more things, tweak them, then throw it on the car and see how it drives.

i cant wait till i really figure out how to use it :D

Just set the spark/fuel cutoffs at 7k and be done with that...

Set your WOT RPM's to desired shift point and zero out the WOT shift mph tables. Then just adjust your WOT rpm shift points after scanning.

You can raise your Shift pressures on performance shifts and also lower the shift times. They will affect what rpm you shift at too.

The tranny takes time to shift. If you set it at 6k, once you reach 6k the PCM begins the shift. You could see 6200-6300 before the shift is actually done.
