determining coolant loss

hello all. i was wondering if there was a way to determine weather im losing coolant through a lower intake gasket, or a head gasket?

Try taking the radiator cap off while its running and look for air bubbles. If you see a pretty consistent stream off bubbles then it probably is the headgasket. But more than likely you won't see any, and I would bet it's the lim gasket. A headgasket going bad on these engines is fairly uncommon, but the lim gasket fails all the time.
