i was getting a bad o2 sensor code on my 08 grand prix, i changerd it for a denso sensor the light went off for a day then came right back on. i reset the computer three times but the code, do i need to buy a factory sensor for the light to go off?

I recommend AC Delco O2 sensors to everyone who asks. Not sure if it'll help you, but I had the same issue with Denso, swapped out for the AC Delco and haven't had an issue since.

you dont say which o2 you need or the code.

rock auto will list them as up stream or post cat o2. you have 2, they are not the same.

id think either of these would work. depends on if your car has then damn ca emissions or not i guess.

I going to buy the first one that you listed I was sure what all of those abortions ment so I wasn't sure if I was buying the right part

first one listed is cheaper but its the ca o2 sensor.

the other one costs more but should be what you want if you dont have a ca car.

(NU6) is a rpo code i think, its mean ca car.

(NT7) and (NF4) are non ca cars. should see one of these codes on your trunk lid sticker.

Been having same issue ever since i swapped to headers i have like 3 or 4 upstream o2 sensor codes even though i swapped in a new one from ebay, which that may explain it. Gas mileage is excellent but car gets chuggy when cruising around low rpms.

yea dude all 06+ GPs are SULEV so you're gonna need the CA emissions sensors. Learned the hardway and CA o2 Sensors are cheap. Went with Denso because my OE one was Denso. No Issues

I still have my original o2 sensors I don't think it's a denso, however I did replace my original with a denso it runs fine somewhat but it still sends a bad o2 sensor code. I have a 08 N/A gp. Scottydoggs mentioned something about a code list on the trunk lid so I'll check to see if I'm running a C/A emissions vehicle

guys who have this year should know better then i. the cheap one maybe the way to go. seems you just may have that rpo code anyway.
