• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

delta cams

No. The re shape the lobes , which takes material away. The longer push rods make up for that. It's the duration that I'm trying to figure out how they do that.
Again I'm not an expert but rather just inquiring about it...

I'm not saying anything about you not having success with them. I am however comparing the facts about re grinding vs new grind. There has to be some limitations to what you can do with a re grind. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe like some one mentioned before, you make special accommodations like longer push rods.

This site mentioned http://www.elgincams.com/ that they weld metal to the cam to add material
That seems to be what failed on that link posted above mine. Like the weld came off

If you want to make this a back and forth thread we can. I was just warning people to do extensive research before settling on a regrind. In the beginning you tried to make this sound like a new cam, which it is not, and that needs to be made clear from the start.

A regrind is not something new to the world. Its a cheap alternative to doing things the right way, which is why almost everyone gets a new cam. If regrinds were so great, comp wouldn't even make new cams anymore. Think about it.

My firebird is a roller had no issues at all. I notices on my flat tappet the base circle was smaller, called them for posh rods and they gave them to me. I beat the brakes off the satellite with no issues aside from the transmission

Really? That statement can easly be countered, because if they were as great as you're trying to say they are everyone would do them...
