Man it just dawned on me. The highway KR I see at sustained RPMs and the idle problem I noticed awhile back. It was that lifter all along. At a stop I'd feel a bump almost like a miss. Very audible with cut out open. Is was the lifter not opening the exhaust valve all the way

For now I'm getting car running again. The donor engine my brother is shipping to national speed and their going to install new cam and rod bearings for me. I'm doing everything else

Just an FYI new motor should be done in a month or two and ready to drop in. I'll be selling my current intake manifold and injectors along with the VLOM.

It's the LS1 right? The LS6 looks like it makes a little bit more across the powerband, but are you happy with it?

I'm happy with my ls1. It's lightly ported. But brand new Dorman ls6 IM are better than ls1 and cheap lol

Yeah I think I want to tackle the LS6 route. Can you shoot me a picture of your stock VLOM?

Any idea when you'll be able to get a quote for shipping?
