And I now have my own coolant elbows just like the 3800s. Used some to make a clean routing of the new lines.

Coolant problems fixed.




So the stock heater core lines no longer run over top of the intake manifold. Definitely makes engine bay look better. I gotta go take pics. But removing all the factory lines was a 8 hour PITA

I gave into the dark side. HPtuners has me stumped. I've already paid for 3 hours of tuning time with an ls tuner. On a dyno. He's going to set my scanner up and show me how to tune. All while tuning the car. I paid 80 extra for the instructional portion of the time and will be super happy to be able to go faster than 60mph lol

sometimes its just best to pay up for a class. 80 bucks is not a lot when you think about the info you'll leave with.

It took you eight hours to remove and re-route all the coolant hoses...they're that bad, WTF?

Yea. Getting to them involved lots of BS. I tried removing the lines from under car and the way the stock hose clamps were.....there was no way except from above. Even had to remove the front header.

And yes Scotty this guy only does LS engines. They have 3 tuners. 2 do everything and one does LS only. So should be good to have. They even video the entire session and give u copies on DVD

Ha. Haha. Hahaha. Spent 4 hours on the dyno today. Got some damn good results (at the cost of a quarter tank of gas).
