Delilah....dyno rackar

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

Yea. Funny story though....this ls1 IM won't be on for about a month though. I just paid for an ls6 one. Dude never returned my calls and finally sent pics and said he could ship it out first thing Tuesday lmfao

You ****.

And **** that guy LOL.

Well, when you get the LS6 on...you know where to send the LS1, ha.

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

True. As soon as the ls6 one gets here I wanna do a little light porting on it, and get it nodded for the ls4, then send it to get hrdro dipped lol. I don't wanna do 11 coats of paint again

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

I was going to have a local paint this one...blast off the 11 coats of crazy and have it color matched to the car and get the throttle body polished.

Figured that'd help out a little bit.

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

Yea that'd work good too. Their nylon material so getting paint to stick to it is a living nightmare. Hydrodipping is 60 bucks plus shipping and will withstand the heat

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

So tuning is officially pi*sing me off. Learning hot to do it is a headache. I've got Marshall helping me via text and all. And I'm taking tons of notes for future reference. Working on VE tuning now. MAF tuning later if I can figure it all out

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

Setting up the SD tune isnt very hard, just lots of logging is needed. Don't get scared when it wants to run at 16.0 to 17.0 all the time on your first run out. Once you enter the data in the for the first time it will cut it down to 15.5ish for most spots.

Re: Her names Delilah...lots of Tender Love & Care coming

Cool. Yea 91parkave has been helping me a ton. But a vac leak was causing it to not let us tune it good.

So found one leak last night....and going to see if there's anymore with this

A fog machine.

A fog machine is sufficient enough to find a leak? I've wondered about it before but never tried it.
