Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

dang that is close...ill probably just stick with the ssc springs. although when you get back id love to see yours in person...and theres a meet/show in charlotte in april if your back by then. we'd love to have another gxp go...then there can be 2 there

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

I will be back in June, can't wait to be back besides missing my family. I have some new plans for my GXP when I get back to include new color scheme, rims, tire size, gauges and some other interior things...Also If you don't go low enough the first time you will end up wanting more so think about how low you really want to go the first time before you spend the $ on a set of springs .....

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

OK spazz...let's calm down here I'm only wanting no more than a two inch drop OK!!! But it is an idea. What all plans u got for the gxp when ya get back.. and did u leave it with TMO

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

I'm sure he'll be happy with the SSC. No sense in going to low and having to deal with road debris etc screwing s**t up when he travels back home plus I'm sure he'll be doing some road trips after all he is military.

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

Yup...roads back home suck and I will most definitely have to put the mud flaps on the gp. I ordered a set but I couldn't find the ones that say grand prix on them

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

Guess I was right lol that's something I picked up from having buddies that are in the military along with my sister so the cost of looking good being slightly lowered doesn't out way the potential for s**t to really go wrong.

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

Nice thing about TX roads though, high speed, long, flat and clean. It's like skating on smooth ice at 75mph. Perfect for lowered cars.

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

Yup...except the gravel ones back home. O well...does anyone have an answer for the welding question I had? I've got solder but its old so I'm gonna buy some more and get some flux but dunno what kind? Or what mixture of metal and all is best

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

I just used what I had laying around when I solder haven't had a issue yet u believe its just simple resin core from RadioShack

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

Hmmm...I always thought there was a kind that was the "best" but what ever. I'm gonna to a local audio shop to get some 0 gauge so I'll ask them as well and post what I find out!

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

I've come to the conclusion that this is a bad influence on me...makes me spend more money

I would never leave it with TMO. I live on base so its @ my house, new plans when I get back are rims, tires (wider),new color scheme, gauges, some interior stuff..

Re: My 06 GP GXP Her names Delilah

Yeah find a friends house to store it at, the post storage lots are a bad place, well at least for the Army. Peoples cars broken into and tires flattened or parts robbed.

I just finished deciding on gauges and all. I should have those done and installed right after I get back from itx. Your more than welcome to check em out. I'm excited about them. And glad u didn't leave something as nice as that with TMO. I'm gonna leave mine somewhere just dunno where yet
