Delilah....dyno rackar

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble, leaky leaky, squeaky squeaky, bit*hy bit*hy

Well all data says 6 hours. But really I think with a full service shop 3hours max

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble, leaky leaky, squeaky squeaky, bit*hy bit*hy

update on Delilah: picked her up for the stealership and also my wallet got 688.22 dollars lighter....that hurt and it's all the governments fault. But anyways new harmonic balancer is on and no wobble in it at all unlike the stock balancer. Also that got rid of the rattling noise i would get at 1200-1300 rpm's so i think that the old balancer was very close to being done with life. I did keep the old ones and will be posting pictures of it very soon...it is in absolutely poor condition. Also my motor mount in the front is the cause of the noise i hear when accelerating. i figured it was just a motor mount...so this came of no surprise. i didnt even ask them to look for that but the mech noticed that it was in terrible shape during install and showed me in one of the bays.

And then noticed this week that when I turn the wheel left to right slightly there's a noise and after further investigation found this

And those were replaced six months ago. Guess that's a good reason to not buy cheap parts. Replaced both tie rod ends with Moog ones and going to get an alignment at sears in the AM. Have free alignments for three years there and they do a great job

In other news have a ls1 intake manifold ls7 maf ls2 TB and HP tuners on the way. The intake swap is 91parkave's old set up.
Also debating on weather to buy OBX headers or Doug thorley headers. And ordering a aero force gauge tonight along with pillar pod. Gotta decide on two more gauges but not right away...o and on exhaust I think I'm going to buy a single round borla muffler and put where the resonator is and going with full three inch exhaust. I think I left some things out...but o wells

Re: Her names Delilah. She's becoming a healthier girl now...less whining and bit*hin

like the watch lol goo to see some progress on her

Yup been setting money aside to do all the modding at once. I'm about to go back to sea for 3 weeks.....but right when I return Delilah better be ready. I think I'll do headers at the same time as the intake swap. I'm going to do the new MAF before all of it though so I can get it dialed in some

Re: Her names Delilah. She's becoming a healthier girl now...less whining and bit*hin

well i have the ls7 MAF and the flange for it now. the wiring harness for the TB, and the TB gets here tomorrow along with my aero force and gauge pilliar. so much stuff to install on the car when i get back from sea this time around
