So I was originally planning on upgrading to a gen 5 and running a full size IC, but after doing some research I hear there are some pretty serious SD hood (which I have) clearance issues with this combo. So now I'm debating on whether I should just keep my gen 3 and run a full size IC (I heard the gen 3 offers more clearance), or getting a gen 5 and running a SSIC. Not looking to make any "serious" power, but want a little more kick. Any suggestions??? :confused:
 


If these are your mods...

Headers, modified 1.9's, 3.4 mps, Overkill pcm, and a bunch of other little goodies...

Get some meth injection and drop to a 3.2"...then bigger injectors and see if you can get away with a smaller pulley...I'd port the blower and TB too if you haven't already

The TB is a ZZP stg 1. The blower in a rebuilt gen 3 from American Supercharger with a machined inlet/outlet making it more efficient.

I'm thinking I should go with a full size IC, 42.5 injectors, 3.0 pulley, and of course a tune. But that gen 5 is still in the back of my mind...

but you would still have to hack up that SD hood..... same boat im in...
