Decide to try out the HD lip on the 04

So i decided i wanted to try the HD lip on the car, took a trip down to lowes and got all the necessary parts for the job. Heres the out come... i think it looks really good on there

Also i hit it with some black trim restorer to darken and shine it up.. and you cant really see in the pics but i did manage to follow the curves pretty well so it flows with the infeno lip really nice.

Thanks IloveGM I dont think it looks to bad for 20 bucks worth of parts lol
 
Ya it is def a different taste for differnt people... got bored with the front end (until i can get the damn inferno hood lol) so figured i would change it up a little bit

It was a ***** getting the curve right but I soaked it in hot water to get it right. Anyway looks good man
 


Ya it was!! Lol thats what took the most time... and the damn double sideded tape is just about useless lol good enough to hold it for a minute or two in order to pop some screws in there.. i also installed it differently then i saw on the write ups( i think your writeup Parkave), i used the longer side with the little curve as the front to make it bigger, just didnt like the small size of the other side when i test fit it on there.
 
^haha ya i keep telling myself i need to make one ive been one here a while lol, i just need to sit down and do it lol.. maybe tonight i will crack open a few and hammer it out
