Hello all. So I've got a 98 Gt an about a week ago the passenger side inner cv joint boot decided it wanted to come loose. After inspecting it a bit I decided it was a done deal for that axle and I went ahead and replaced it. It came out fine but the new axle didn't seem to want to go in fully. I checked and made sure it was the right axle and that the old c-clip hadn't gotten stuck inside. Everything seemed ok an it even seems that the clip on the new axle is seated. Long story short I had to go to work so I put everything back together and went to work. Upon driving it I could feel a vibration coming from the passenger side. So my question to you guys is, does anyone have a clue as to what may be wrong??? I've done a ton axles in the past so I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything wrong. I read a thread on here where someone mentioned the axle for the gtp is shorter than the one for the Gt and I know that she has a different trans than she was born with so is it possible I have the hd trans and it doesn't wanna accept the longer axle???
