De-tinting My Window

Sipes

So I really don't wanna pay the extra money to have my tint removed when I can do it myself! :D But here's the question. Does anybody know of an adhesive remover that wont harm my defroster but is strong enough to remove the glue left behind? I used a steamer to remove the film, and I would just razorblade the hell out of it but don't wanna damage the defroster and my antenna.

bug and tar remover? never used it for window tint film but its worked wonders on many sticky messes. <<<< not what you think lol

use a soft cloth or something and just get it really wet with the bug and tar remover and scrub scrub scrub

The easiest way I have ever done it is to get some amonia and a spray bottle. park your car in full sun, cut a few slices through the tintand spray it with the amonia and place a black trash bag over the amonia, that will keep it from evaporating and let it penetrate to the glue... should come off quite easy then...
