Id figure id ask you guys before i went ahead and did it and messed things up. whats the best way to de-badge the car, with what tools. thanks.:th_thumbsup-wink:

i used a blow dried, ripped em off then a plastic mixing blade to get them off, then mineral spirits to take the rest of the glue off. i didnt have any color difference from where they were and i have a 2000, and i just did mine in like nov 2009.

When I took the badge off my trunk, I used some fishing line to actually get the badge off, then used a heat gun to soften the adhesive, and managed to get it all off in about 5 minutes. After a good wash you couldnt tell it was ever there. I took it off last Fall, so it was on the car for 7+ years.

autozone has sticker lifter, comes with a little tool $6.99, worked awesome, no scratches........... i think the brand is goo-gone

thanks for all the reply's, except silverman...j/k if it stops raining over her i'll post up some pics later

just pick them off with your fingers and use rubbing alcohol to get the residue off and wash the area after, eeeaasssyyyyy

i use fishing line to "saw" throught he goop, then use goof off to get the residue off. Works like a charm.
