didnt know how fast subaru's were till tonight:th_nervous:. I'm listening to music bout to go out of town stopped at a red light on a dead street and a red 2010 wrx stops right next to me and revs his engine then im like what the hell ill bite reved back waited for the light to turn green then we were off than awesome car just took off like a jet but im still followin him about a car away then he misses a shift slows way down and i beat him onto the highway. just thought id share that my first race on the fourms. And i still want a Subaru WRX they are just awesome cars.afterwards we stopped at mc donalds to score some free food and talked bout tha subie

sub is bone stock but i got ,SD headers, 180 stat, tune ,short ram ,dynomax exhaust, no spare in the back, fresh oil, and a fully rebuilt transmission PITA money wise took me about 4 months to save up for one

if im not mistaken that scooby shoulda kicked your ass. must have needed a driver mod. well i guess not with your said mods you both were prolly in the same whp range.

the new rex's put out crazy power bone stock, depends on the gearing i guess. if you guys kept on with you in third.......hed a been GONE

the 2.5L EJ257 can push 350+ whp with a intake, exhaust (turbo back), and a good tune. with bigger turbos, better intercoolers, and other supporting stuff they can push well over 500 whp. it's an easy motor to make power with.

dont you put me back on a subie kick mang dont do it

and btw i didnt mean to sound dickish in my first post in here. nice race!

I dont understand the whole missing gears thing.

Its just pull back, push forward, back then the race should be over.

1-4 is all you should need in most races.... Safer ones at least

ive done it many times. youre trying to shift to fast and you let out the clutch faster than you are moving your arm.

now, once you get good at driving you shouldnt do this pretty much ever.

Ah that makes sense.

Still a major noob at manual.

I granny shift for now. Dont want to wreck my buddy's fragile little T5.
