Daytona 500!

I think its funny that the drivers found out that they could go faster by driving in tandem, drafting a teammate, and getting up to speeds over 200. then nascar freaks out and puts a smaller restrictor plate on the engine, limiting power and the engine will overheat easier. But the drivers kept doing it, so nascar limits the amount of time you can use this "technique". So then the drivers started taking turns who drafts who. I read that in "stars and stripes" this morning and laughed, race car drivers just wanna go fast. But, i am not a nascar fan. I am one of those people who think nascar is a boring form of motorsports. I prefer LeMans, or Formula 1

Back in the day I used to watch nascar. But to be honest, after awhile, I got bored with it, just can't really call it or even consider it a sport.. I still like to know who won, and to watch some of the crashes on youtube and stuff, but I just can't sit at my tv, or computer and watch that stuff anymore. I used to be a big Dale Sr. fan, and after he died, nascar just couldn't keep me there. Dale Jr. is an ok driver, and yes I agree he needs to stop living in his dads shadow.

To be even more honest, Nascar should be in the Genius world book of records for most boring so called sport, next to curling from canada..

Only Nascar I want to see is early 70's and earlier. That was bad-ass. Now there's too many rules and I don't have the patience to sit around for 4+ hours waiting for the chance that something interesting might happen. I'll watch the highlights on youtube.

yea im losing interest in nascar too. but i just cant miss this race. the restrictor plates races are the more exciting ones. already there was a 17 car wreak within the first 45 mins. but last year i didnt even try to watch most races when a few years ago i had to watch everyone lol

Dale Jr through and through. He's gonna make his ole man #3 a proud father today.

RIP #3

i used to watch it all the time, rusty wallace ftw.
now it's boring as hell, and i'd rather find drifting on speed or something.
crazy a$$ nascar, you can't run those 327's at 9600 rpms...

this is getting really boring. they just pair up with another car and pull away and the pack is splitting up. plus 3 of the4 people in the hendrick team arent doing good. when will kyle busch crash?

I like nascar, and root for jeff gordon. I miss alot of it because I work on sundays alot.

But I'm not the biggest fan of these really long track races. I prefer tracks like las vegas, texas, martinsville and bristol where stuff is happening all the time and is more fun to watch the drivers battle for postion and out smart one another. And same for with the road courses, they are my top favorites too.

daytona is always a fairly decent race to watch. mainly the beginning parts as well as the last few laps.

only other tracks to watch are bristol and martinsville. wrecks galore.

nascar is weak my dad was watchin it. i checked out a lil bit, i dont get how its a race.... they just ride eachothers ass's harddd. and asfor baseball, its boring all around. i think being at a game is even worse. i just have no interest in baseball. season pats tickets and tailgatin down foxboro is were its at
