Dave and Busters meet, Providence RI --Jan 15th-- 1PM

Re: Dave and Busters meet, Providence RI --Jan 15th--

We can plan for 1pm. My daytona is your typical 3.4 car with supporting mods, it's slow at the moment.

My Regal is your average Regal with rockers and front plog. 3.8 pulley currently. I got smacked down by Max's new whip last night. So we'll have to gang up and block the road to keep him in the rearview.

I tried a lot of things and well..none seemed to fix it. Then I swapped back a couple of the coils that I had swapped in due to misfires and ....magic.

Yes I know of this magic you speak of. Remember the TPS issues I was having? Yeah, me too lol. The car fixed itself, I don't know how but it did.

Hello little friends

Prepped... need probably an hour to install it.

I replaced my trans the week after Christmas and ... it was a perfectly good 194K mile trans in the car. Remember it kept doing the same thing..actually more. Magic or maybe a 1/4 coil seems to have fixed it.

Current trans:
VB/Channel plate by TEP (originally for the Bonne, so the 2nd and 3rd clutch feeds are opened up)
Intense turbine input shaft
2.93 gears with V8 chains
Hardened 4th shaft
Extra clutches/steels to tighten up 2nd and 3rd gears
Dex 6 and super special DT fluid that TEP suggests
All fresh clutches/steels and the works.

I totally forgot..you got rocks on the car too. So this 3.6" pulley should even us up pretty well.

You have headers, I have plog and dp
You have 1.9 HS rocks, so do I
You have a 3.4" pulley? I'll have a 3.6
You have a Gen 3, I'll be on a Gen V (if I can install between now and then)
You...are gonna win the race.

It should be close. I'm actually having about 3* of KR at WOT so I should at least get a tune or pulley up. **** you cold weather.

I thought the colder air would lean out the car, with it being denser and all? At least I thought that's why I was getting it. however I do think I have a vaccum leak that I was going to try to check out on saturday. That would be awesome if you guys could do a tune on my slowtona.

You miss understand. Yes.. cold air is more dense and can lean you a little. It's also a much cooler air charge.

And th part you misunderstood....we'll tune my car...

I used to think this as well... but after I got a wideband it's clearly not the case. You will actually (on the stock tune which is setup to be super safe) run more rich in the cold. The MAF sees the air as being more dense and adds fuel accordingly.

You will lean out in the cold if you are maxing your injectors though. They might not be able to keep up with the demand that they otherwise would have when more air is coming in. But I'm not sure if you're anywhere near that point.
